Indian Institute of Management IIM Jammu Recruitment 2018 IIM Jammu is looking for a Director as the Chief Executive of the Institute who provides academic leadership and efficient administration to the Institute under the overall guidance of a highly distinguished Board of Governors. The Director of IIM Jammu would have the responsibility of setting up the Institution and bringing it up to global standards.

With the enactment of IIM Act 2017 on 31 January 2018, the institutional priority has changed. IIM Jammu thus re-advertising the post of Director with specific criteria to meet the emerging challenges. The ideal applicant will be a distinguished academician having the following traits:

As IIM Jammu is in the project mode he/she should have demonstrated entrepreneurial zeal and the ability to work on combined vision with the Board.
He/she should have the relevant shop-floor industry experience.
He/she should be academic leader in his field and a seasoned teacher too.

Name of the post : Director as the Chief Executive of the Institute

The ideal candidate should have a PhD degree with good academic records.

Age

He/she should be above the 50 years of age. The appointment of the Director will be made for a period of 5 years or until attaining the age of superannuation of 65 years, whichever is earlier.

Salary

He will draw salary equivalent to the Secretary to the Government of India i.e. at a basic pay of Rs.2,25,000/- In addition, he will be given rent free furnished accommodation as per MHRD guidelines. An office car will also be provided for personal use on payment basis.
