Eligibility Conditions:

The conditions of eligibility of a candidate shall be determined with reference to the relevant recruitment rules notified vide SRO – 359 dated 01.12.1988 and SRO -119 dated:06.03.1987 respectively and shall further be subject to the fulfilment of the following parameters:-

1. that the candidate is permanent resident of J&K State; and
2. he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinaiy Sciences & Animal Husbandry from a recognized University or institute.

Note;

A candidate will be eligible to get the benefit of reservation under a particular reserved category indicated by him in his/her application form. If a candidate indicates in his/her application form that he/she belongs to General category but subsequently writes to the Commission to change his/her category to a reserved one, such request shall not be entertained by the Commission. Similar principle will be followed for physically challenged categories also.

Age as on 1 January 2019:
Minimum	= 18 Years
Maximum/ln-service	= 40 Years
Physically Challenged candidates	= 42 Years
Candidates belonging to RBA/SC/ST/ALC/SLC categories	= 43 Years
Ex-serviceman	= 48 Years

Note:    Over-aged candidates having exceptional qualification relevant to the concerned subject

may also apply at their own risk and responsibility in pursuance of Government Order No. 1500- GAD of 2000 dated: 21.12.2000 without prejudice to the right of the Commission to reject their Application Form.

Examination Fee:

After successful submission of the application form, the candidate will be required to deposit requisite fee through online mode and ensure that the details regarding deposition of the fee are reflected on the online application form. The amount of fee to be paid is given below:-
