Applications are invited from eligible permanent residents of J&K state for recruitment of Class-IV posts in Animal Husbandry Department (District Cadre Jammu) in reference to Govt Order No. 189-ASH of 2015 dated 29.12.2015 read with Govt. Order No. 35- ASH of 2013 dated 11.2.2013, Govt Order No. 61-ASH of 2014 dated 30.6.2014, Govt Order No. 79-ASH of 2014 dated 3.7.2015 and SRO-202 dated 30-06-2015 on the prescribed format given in Annexure ‘B’ and criteria for short listing/criteria for selection in Annexure ‘A’ as per details given below from the candidates who:-

1. Are permanent residents of the J&K state?
2. On 01-06-2016 are not:-
3. Below the age of 18 years; and
4. Above the age of:-
5. 40 years in case of General category/in-service candidates.
6. 43 years in case of all reserved category candidates.
7. 42 years in case of physically challenged candidates.
8. 48 years in case of Ex-servicemen.

The breakup of the posts as per the Roaster maintained in this office in light of SRO-294 of 2005 dated 21.10.2005 is given as under:-

Note:-

Under SRO-202 dated 30-06-2015 (Rule-9) during the period of first five years, the appointee shall be entitled to the minimum of scale of pay along with the grade pay applicable to the post against which he/she is appointed.

Educational qualification:

The minimum /maximum qualification for appointment of Class-iv posts shall be Matric & 10+2 respectively as prescribed vide SRO-98 of 2008 dated 7.4.2008. However, no additional weight age shall be given to qualifications above 10+2.

Application Form duly completed along-with attested copies of the following testimonials/documents be deposited in the office of the Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Jammu super scribed as “Application for District Cadre Post”w.e.f. 11-07-2016 to 05-08- 2016 from 9.00 AM to 2.00 PMon working days and no application Form shall be entertained or accepted after expiry of stipulat­ed period.Incomplete application Forms shall not be accepted.

6. Academic qualification certificate
7. Marks certificate of each examination passed (Matric        &              10+2)
8. Permanent resident certificate
9. Category certificate, if any
10. Character certificate from a Gazetted Officer.

Any qualification or claim accruing to the candidate   after the      last            date of receipt of application shall not be given any consider­

ation. No under process documents/certificate will be entertained. Incomplete application form(s) shall be out rightly rejected and no claim shall be considered at any stage of recruitment process.

The horizontal reservation for physically challenged persons to the extent of 3% shall be followed strictly in accordance with the policy of reservation in such cases.

The job of Class-IV employees in Animal Husbandry Department is to control/restraint of large animals, feeding, watering of poultry and livestock cleaning of sheds& office premises, lifting of head loads and carriage of item viz; cattle feed,poultry feed, harvesting and head load carriage dry/green fodders, cattle/poultry excreta and agriculture operations in farms right from culti­vation to harvesting, carriage of fodder and lopping of fodder trees and help in conduction of Post Mortem of animals, removal of dead animals and dead poultry birds from the shed to disposable site etc. etc.

No TA/DA will be paid for participants in the interview.
