Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Awantipora, Kashmir invites Online application forms from the eligible candidates of permanent residents of J&K for the post of Assistant Programmer in the pay band of Rs. 9300-34800 with GP of Rs. 4200/- (Pre-revised).

Pay Band:  Rs. 9300-34800 with GP of Rs. 4200/- (Pre-revised).

Eligibility:

Essential Qualification:
1. B.Tech/ B.E. in Information Technology/ Computer Science Engineering/ Electronics  and Communication Engineering from a recognized University with alteast 55% mark or equivalent GPA.
Or
MCA/ M.Sc. Information Technology with at least 55% marks or equivalent GPA from a recognized University

2. Three years of experience in software development on e-governance system in a University Education System / Research Institute.

NOTE:-

The Candidates who have already applied for the above said posts in response to Advertisement Notice Nos. 05 of 2015 dated 13-11-2015 are required to apply afresh if they fulfil the above eligibility, through online mode and also deposit the hardcopy of the application form within the prescribed date of submission of application forms, however they need not to pay the application fee of Rs. 800/-. Those who fail to apply afresh will have no
claim whatsoever for consideration for the post(s) applied earlier.

GENERAL CONDITIONS/ INSTRUCTIONS.

1. Age as on 01-01-2018: –
a. Not below 18 years; and
b. Not above:-
i. 40 years in case of Open Merit.
ii. 43 years in case of SC / ST/ RBA/ ALC/ OSC candidates.
iii. 42 years in case of Physically Challenged candidates.
iv. 48 years in case of Ex-Servicemen.
c. However, this shall not apply to in-service candidates.

How to apply

1. Candidates are required to apply online through University website www.islamicuniversity.edu.in No other means/ mode of application will be accepted.

2. Hard copy of application form complete in all respects duly supported by attested copies of certificates and testimonials should reach office of the Registrar by or before 6th November, 2018. Application forms received after the expiry of the said date will not be entertained.

b) Last date for submission of Online/ Hard copy of Application form: 6th November 2018.
