IGNOU RECRUITMENT OF ACADEMIC CONSULTANT IN PERSIAN LANGUAGE

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for one post of Academic Consultant in Persian Language, School of Foreign
Languages (SOFL), Indira Gandhi National Open University, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068. The position is for a duration of two
years with the recruitment being initially for a period of six months after which it may be extended depending on the candidates’
performance. Remuneration and educational qualifications for the posts are given as follows:

Educational Qualification

Masters in Persian Language with 55% (General) and 50% (SC/ST/PH/OBC) NET qualified (as per UGC norms)
M.Phil/Ph.D At least two years experience in teaching/research with experience in preparation of study  material in Persian editing and translation.

Job profile:

The nature of work would involve activities pertaining to development of academic programmes in Persian Language
offered by the University. The job would include writing, translating and editing of course material, supervising in printing of study
material and assisting the Faculty in day to day activities related to course development. Interested candidates may send their
