Power Shut down in various parts of Jammu

In order to carry out development works by M/s IRCON International Ltd, the power supply to Tawi Vihar and adjoining areas fed from Sidhra-II LT Network will remain affected from May 16 to May 31 from 8 am to 4 pm. (Power block on alternate DTs).

Meanwhile, to carry out stringing work of 400 KV D/C Samba-Amargarh transmission line, the power supply to Rajouri, Poonch, Draba, Mandi, Haveli, Surankote and adjoining areas fed from 132 KV D/C Barn-Siot-Kalakot Transmission line will remain affected on May 20 from 10 am to 3 pm.

Similarly, the power supply to Karan Nagar, Gujjar Nagar, Panjitirthi, Jain Bazar, Ustad Mohalla, Kachi Chawni, Jullaka Mohalla, Hari Market , Balmiki Chowk, Boriawala Pump House and adjoining areas fed from 33 KV G-5, G-8 & G-4 lines emanating from Grid Station Gladni will remain affected on May 23 from 10 am to 2 pm.

Likewise, the power supply to Channi Himmat, Channi Rama, Malik Market, Gurdawara, Chowadi, Sainik Colony, MES, Sunjwah and its adjoining areas fed from 33 KV G-6 line emanating from 220/132/33 KV Grid Station Gladni will remain affected on May 23 from 10 am to 2 pm.

However, to carry out replacement of worn out conductor of Bus Bars, jumpers, droppers, clamps, topping of oil of CT and other allied maintenance works, branch cutting alongwith tightening of nuts & bolts of towers, the power supply to Katra, Reasi, Flata, Jindrah, SMVDU and Salal fed from 132/33 KV Grid Station, Jhajjarkotli and 132 KV S/C Janipur-Jhajjarkotli-Udhampur line will remain affected on May 16 from 6 am to 11 am
