Inviting Applications for appointment under Centrally Sponsored Scheme “National Mission on Agriculture Extension and Technology” (ATMA) 2024-25 purely on Contractual basis.

Job Recruitment in DDC Kathua

As per the instructions of Chairman ATMA Governing Board (District Development Commissioner) Kathua, applications from the eligible candidates are hereby invited for the engagement of Deputy Project Director, Assistant Technology Manager (Block Level), Accountant Cum Clerk and Computer Programmer under Centrally Sponsored Scheme “National Mission on Agriculture Extension and Technology” (NMAET) 2024-25 purely on contractual basis for a period of one year. The eligibility and other terms and conditions of engagement are as under:-

• The candidate should be a Domicile of Union Territory of J&K.

• The candidates with experience of working in Government / Semi-Government organization in relevant field shall be preferred. • The selection criteria on weight-age points as under :


1. Academic Merit (for Deputy Project Director & ATM) Graduation/Bachelor Degree in required field 50 Marks Graduation & Post Graduation in required field 60 Marks

2. Interview 40 Marks Total 100 Marks Application procedure: The prescribed application form (Annexure-1) along with documents required shall be submitted in the office of the Chief Agriculture Officer, Kathua during working hours on any working days w.e.f. 04.07.2024. The last date for the submission of duly filled application form is 09.07.2024. Interview will be held on 11.07.2024 For any further enquiries, the concerned may contact the in the office of Chief Agriculture Officer, Kathua.

Terms and conditions :

1. Selected candidates shall have to work on contractual basis and not claim any permanent employment on the said post and give an undertaking by the 1st Class Magistrate for not claiming extension / permanent employment against the post.

2. The period of contract shall be of one year only from the date of appointment.

3. The employment is subject to the availability of funds under the scheme.

4. The position is temporary and non-transferable.

5. The services of the selected candidate can be terminated any time if work and conduct is not found satisfactory during the employment.

6. The contract shall deem to have been cancelled / terminated once the scheme is withdrawn by the government of India or Union Territory of J&K.

7. The selection committee shall have the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason thereof.

8. The selected candidate shall have to give the undertaking that he/she shall work in the block/office where he/she will be posted.

9. The age of the applicant as on 01.07.2024 should not be less than 18 years and not more than 65 years.

10. Mere filling of form will not entitle for the appointment.

11. No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates for appearing in the interview.
