1.	Name of post	Young Professional
2.	Number of posts	28 (Twenty-Eight) posts for deployment in MoE General(20),Media(4),Legal(1),Statistics/Operations Research(1),Economics/PublicPolicy/Development Studies(2)}
3.	Method of recruitment	Contract-based through Open market
4.	Age Limit	Candidates should not be more than 32 years of age as on 01st July 2022
5.	Period of Contract	The engagement will be initially for the period of one year. Based on the performance and requirement, extension may be granted upto 5 years in slabs of one year at a time.
6.	Professional Fee (per month)	A consolidated amount of Rs 70,000/- per month for the first 2 years. An annual increment of upto 5% may be considered from the 3rd year onwards and extended upto 5th year.
7.	Educational Qualification & Experience	B.Tech/ M.Tech or Masters in non-technical courses from an Institute of National importance / Institution of eminence: OR Advertisement B.E./ B.Tech/ LLB/ LLM degree holder or Masters in non-technical courses from Institutions figuring in the latest NIRF ranking (2022) OR Graduates or Master’s Degree holders from International Institutions figuring in QS Ranking 2022(Top 100) are also eligible to apply
8.	Job description	Young Professionals will be engaged for supporting various function carried out by MoE: National Education Policy and its implementation Quality Monitoring of University Spread of Education Technology Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat and other ongoing Campaigns Open and distance learning

Compensation: YPs will be entitled to a monthly remuneration of Rs. 70,000/- which shall be frozen for the first two years of engagement. An annual increment of up to 5% may be considered from 3 years onwards and extend up to 5th year with the approval of the Competent Authority. The increment shall be worked out on base remuneration of Rs. 70,000/- per month.
