Government Medical College, GMC Srinagar invites applications for several contractual positions, funded by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. These positions are under the National Inherited Diseases Administration (NIDAN Kendra) project. The positions include:

Research Associate (RA):

Eligibility: Ph.D. in Biochemistry/Clinical Biochemistry/Biotechnology. Post-Ph.D. experience in the relevant field is preferred.

Age Limit: Maximum of 40 years for males, 45 years for females.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF):

Eligibility: M.Sc. in Biochemistry/Clinical Biochemistry/Biotechnology, with two years of relevant experience. Candidates must have cleared NET/GATE.

Age Limit: Maximum of 35 years.

Lab Technician:

Eligibility: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Medical Lab Technology or Biochemistry/Clinical Biochemistry. Relevant experience is preferred.

Age Limit: Maximum of 35 years.

How to Apply:

Candidates must submit applications with self-attested copies of qualifications and domicile certificates.

Application fee of Rs. 300 to be paid via pay-in-slip in favor of Post Graduate Welfare Fund (SB-28894).

Deadline: 30th October 2024 by 3:00 PM.

Important Notes:

Engagement is contractual, for one year initially, and renewable based on performance and project funding.

The selected candidates will need to sign a commitment to stay for at least three years.
