Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Consultant (Full Time) for Urdu in School of Humanities, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Maidan Garhi, New Delhi -110068 on contract basis, initially for a period of six months and extendable further as per requirement of the University.

Educational Qualification and Experience

Essential
• Masters Degree in Urdu with 55% marks for general category or 50% marks for reserved category and Net qualified/Ph.D as per UGC Guidelines.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have experience of 5-7 years in Teaching / Research in the Urdu Language and Literature. Desirable
• Experience in ODL material production.
• Knowledge of Hindi & English Relaxation: As per rules
