Development of DUS Test Guidelines for Vegetable Kale (Brassica oleracca L var. Acephala)

Qualification: M.Sc. in Horticulture

(Masters Degree in the relevant subject with 4 years /5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Masters degree should have NET qualification and 2 years of research experience as mentioned in the OM No. Agril. Edn.6/27/2014-HRD 9th October 2015 of the Council and as mentioned in the OM SR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dated 30″’ January-2019.

Desirable: Experience in DUS testing

Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification and 2 years of research experience as mentioned in the OM No. Agril. Edn.6/27/2014-HRD 9thOctober 2015 of the Council and as mentioned in the OM SR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dated 30thJanuary-2019.

Desirable: Experience in DUS testing

Selection criteria:

45 marks for Masters Degree. 10 marks for PhD. 10 marks for Research experience(1 marks for each completed year). 10 marks for publication. 05 marks for Awards and 20 marks for personal interview.

NOTE:

The Upper age limit for SRF will be 35 years for Men and 40 years for Women. Age relaxations will be as per the rules.
No Objection Certificate from the employer/University/funding agency, in case he/she is employed or working in some project.
The appointment of SRF would be on full time basis and he/ she would not be permitted to take up any other assignment during the period of engagement with ICAR/ ICAR-CITH. Srinagar.
The selected candidates shall not claim any regular appointment as the positions are purely temporary
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in-Interview
The Director. ICAR-CITH. and Srinagar reserves the right to terminate his/her services without any notice at any time and the decision of the Director. ICAR-CITH. and Srinagar will be final and binding in all respect.
Candidates shall bring original qualification at the time of interview for verification.
Candidates should attend the walk in interview following SOP’S issued by Ministry of Home affairs as well as Union territory of J&K (wearing of mask, gloves and maintain social distance).
