Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Professor, Associate Professor & Assistant Professor: Ph.D. in a relevant discipline with a first-class or equivalent in preceding degrees. Consistently good academic record throughout education.

Professor : Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industry experience. At least 4 years as an Associate Professor in IITs or similar institutes. Must have demonstrated leadership in research through Ph.D. guidance, publications, patents, and projects.

Associate Professor : Minimum 6 years of experience in teaching/research/industry. At least 3 years as an Assistant Professor. Strong research publications and Ph.D. guidance are required.

Assistant Professor Grade I : Minimum 3 years of post-Ph.D. experience in teaching/research/industry. Must have research publications in reputed journals. Preferred age limit: below 35 years.

Assistant Professor Grade II : Fresh Ph.D. holders who meet all criteria except post-Ph.D. experience. Will be promoted to Assistant Professor Grade I after gaining sufficient experience.

Visiting Professor/Retired Professors (on contract) : Retired faculty from CFTIs or experienced faculty on deputation. Must have proven research and teaching expertise.
