Jammu University job: Applications are invited for temporary position of a Project Assistant in a J&K Science, Technology & Innovation Council (JKSTIC) funded research project entitled ‘Synthesis and characterization of Nickel based nanowires for developing self-charged super capacitors’ in the Department of Physics, University of Jammu.

• Name of the post: Project Assistant
• No. of positions: One (01)
• Tenure of the project: 2 years
• Emoluments: Rs. 18,000/- per month
• Qualifications: Master’s degree in Physics with at least 60% marks.
• Age Limit: The upper age limit shall be 28 years. The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes, women, physically handicapped and OBC applicants.
• Duration: The appointment will be for a period of 1 year only. The appointment will be purely temporary, time bond, non regular; the candidate has no legal right to claim his/ her
  regularisation/appointment.
• Interview: Eligible candidates will be informed about the date of interview. All applicants are required to bring their original documents on the date of interview. Candidates whose result of qualifying examination has not been declared so for can also apply. However, they have to produce the result at the time of interview. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview. The rules and regulations laid by JK-DST will be adhered to.
