Hiring of Contractual Staff for Strengthening of Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP), Kashmir.

Applications on prescribed format are invited from the eligible candidates for hiring of staff under Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme at Divisional/District purely on contract basis for a period of one (01) year extendable on the basis of performance or till the continuation of centrally sponsored scheme, as per the breakup given below.

1. Consultant (Training) 1

Post Graduate qualification in medical field preferably in public health/epidemiology

Age: Below 60 years 5 years experience in related field.

At State Surveillance Unit, Srinagar
2. Entomologist 1

M.Sc (Zoology) with entomology as one of the subject

Age: Up to 45 years 1 year experience in Vector-Borne Disease Control

At State Surveillance Unit, Srinagar

3. Veterinary Consultant 1

A post graduate Veterinary degree in Veterinary Public Health or Veterinary Epidemiology or Veterinary Medicine or Veterinary Microbiology or Veterinary Pathology. OR A Bachelors Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry as listed in the First & Second Schedule of the Indian Veterinary Council Act. 1984

Age: Up to 65 years 3 years experience in Veterinary Public Health or Veterinary Epidemiology or Animal Health. OR 5 years experience in Veterinary Public Health or Veterinary Epidemiology or Animal Health

At State Surveillance Unit, Srinagar

4. District Epidemiologist 2

Medical Graduate with Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in preventive and Social Medicine/ Public Health or Epidemiology (MD. MPH, DPH, MAE etc)

Age: Up to 45 years Minimum two years experience in Epidemiology and Public Health 1 at District Surveillance Unit Ganderbal and 1 at District Surveillance Unit Pulwama

5. District Data Manager 1

Post Graduate Qualification in computer science or BE in IT/ Electronics.

Age:

Below 40 years Minimum three years of experience.

Preference will be given to those who have worked in health or social sector.
