Jammu university Recruitment 2016 for clerical staff

SHORT ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE

There is a requirement to appoint eligible candidates on leave chance basis from time to time to assist as clerical staff purely on temporary basis. The University intends to draw a panel of eligible candidates, who are permanent residents of J&K State having a minimum qualification of graduation with not less than 60% marks and one year Diploma in Computer Applications from a Govt. Recognised institute to hire their services as Clerical Staff ,(GS) purely on need basis for meeting its short term requirements, as and

when the need arises, on a monthly consolidated honorarium of Rs.7000/- per month. The panel prepared purely on merit basis of Graduation only (without interview) shall be valid for a period of one year and further extendable with the approval of the Competent Authority.

The merit list so prepared shall be displayed on the University website www.jammuuntverslty.in by 19.02.2016 and shall be open to objections, if any, till 26.02.2016. There shall be no claim/ right of such candidates whatsoever for the temporary / permanent absorption in the University and the said arrangement shall purely be need based In nature and only as per the requirements of the University.

Prescribed application forms can be obtained from the Forms and Stationery Section, University of Jammu, Jammu personally on payment of Rs.200/> as handling

charges / (non-refundable). The last date for submitting the application forms shall be 15.02.2016 upto 05.00 P.M., by hand in the office of the Assistant Registrar (Estab. The University to draw a panel of eligible candidates, who are permanent residents of J&K State, i© hire their services as Clerical Staff (CS) purely on leave chance basis for meeting its short term requirements, as and when arise. Such an engagement shall have no right to claim permanent job in the University of Jammu and the services can be terminated without giving any prior notice.

QUALIFICATION) CERTIFICATES REQUIRED:

The candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any recognized University with at least 60% Marks;
Candidates must have mijiimum one year Diploma in Computer Application from a Govt, recognized Institute;

Certificate of medical fitness by a Grade – I Surgeon; and an

Affidavit attested by a Magistrate 1^st class that the information submitted by the candidate is correct for such an engagement.

AGE AS ON 01.01.2015:

Minimum for all Candidates = 18 years
Maximum for:
General Candidates = 40 years
Socially and Educationally backward classes viz. weak and under privileged classes (Social Caste)/ ALC/SC/ST/RBA Candidates = 43 years
Physically Handicapped = 42
Ex-Serviceman = 48 years
In case of candidates already in Government Service/Contractual employees = 40

years ;

on contract/need basis, subject to satisfactory performance and PERMANENT ABSORPTION IN THE UNIVERSITY. The panel n the basis of academic merit & the candidates whose services are hired shall be paid consolidated honorarium of Rs. 7000/- per month and they shall be

entitled to 15 days casual leave in

a calendar year with honorarium, on pro rata basis
