Application on plain paper along with all necessary details (name, parentage, DOB, Permanent and Corresponding address, contact number, email, educational qualification, experience etc.) are invited for the following positions in the DeIT sponsored R&D Project entitled “Shallow Parser Tool for Indian Languages (SPT-IL)” at P.G. Department of Computer Science and IT, University of Jammu. The appointment will be on contract basis. Details with respect to salary and qualification are as follows:-

Desirable: Experience in Linguistics, developing language technology tools, knowhow of machine translation. |

| 2. | Jr. Linguist | 01 | M.A. in Dogri with 55% marks. Research Experience in Dogri Language.
Desirable: Experience in Linguistics, developing language technology tools, knowhow of machine translation. |

| 3. | Computer
Programmer |
01 | MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Applications with minimum 55% marks.
Knowledge of LINUX, Perl, C, shell programming, machine translation, automata, web technologies on open source platform. Desirable: Experience in NLP project/s specifically in Dogri language. |
Rs. 20,000/- p.m. |
