J&K Social Welfare post-matric scholarship last date extended.

Extension of last date for submission of online scholarship applications under Post-matric Scholarship from students belonging to Other Backward Classes, Economically Backward Classes, Physically Challenged (PCP) & Dr Ambedkar PMS to Denotified Nomadic & Semi NomadicTribes (DNT’s) categories for the year (2018-19).

In view of representations from various sections of the society the last date for submission of online scholarship applications under Post-matric Scholarship from students belonging to Other Backward Classes, Economically Backward Classes, Physically Challenged (PCP) & Dr. Ambedkar Post-matric Scholarship to Denotified Nomadic & Semi Nomadic Tribes (DNTs) categories for the year (2018-19) on State Portal under URL:- https://jk.gov.in/jkeservices has been extended up to 31^st December 2018.

The applicants are advised to take print-out of the duly filled-in application form, after submitting it on-line and submit the same to the concerned Institution/College/University along with all requisite documents. The concerned Head of Institution/College/University will verify the on-line applications with hard copies and forward the hard copies to the concerned District Social Welfare Office for further scrutiny/verification and also for record and reference.

REVISED TIME-LINE FOR VERIFICATION OF ON-LINE APPLICATIONS FOR INSTITUTES AND DISTRICT SOCIAL WELFARE OFFICERS:-

Further, as per communication received from Administrative Department, vide No:- SWD/ Plg/37/2017 Dated:- 19^th October, 2018 the Annual Parental Income with respect to Post- matric Scholarship to students belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBCs) has been revised from Rs. 1.00 lac to Rs. 1.50 lacs.

Other terms and conditions as laid down in previous Notification issued vide No:-DSWK/ Sch/2018/9765-9910 Dated:- 27-08-2018 shall remain un-changed.

As no further extension will be Provided, therefore all concerned are requested to adhere to the above time line for verification of all Post-matric Scholarship Schemes on
State Portal under URL:- https://jk.gov.in/jkeservices.
