SKUAST Jammu Engagement of Contractual teacher / Faculty on Academic Arrangement basis.
Online applications are invited on a prescribed format available on website skuast.org for engagement of contractual teacher Faculty on Academic Arrangement basis for teaching MBA (Agro-Business Management) courses The engagement shall be purely temporary in nature for a period of one academic semester and extendable for one more (next) semester on need basis The engagement shall be governed by university rules as notified vide (9) (secy) of 2017 dt 11 05 2017.
The engagement shall be governed by the following terms and conditions:-
1) The engagement shall be purely temporary on academic arrangement basis and the contractual appointee shall not entitle any claim of absorption / regular appointment in the university / continuation of service beyond the time stipulated herein.
2) The engagement shall be for a period of one academic semester for the session 2020-21 and extendable for one more (next semester) on need basis.
3) The appointee before joining shall have to execute an agreement stamped in a judicial paper with the division on the prescribed format which will be provided when appointment is issued.
4) The engagement of appointee shall be terminable before the expiry of the specified period with one month’s notice from either side or on payment of one month’s salary in lieu of notice by the appointing authority / or the engaged teacher as the ease may be.
5) The appointee shall have to report within 21 days from the issue of the order to Prof. & Head. Div. of Agricultural Economics & ABM. failing which the appointment shall be treated as cancelled automatically.

The engagement shall be governed by university rules as notified vide (9) (secy) of 2017 dt: 11.05.2017.
Essential qualifications and other details of the contractual appointment are as under.
Sher-e- Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu Division of Agricultural Economics &.Agri-business Management HoD(AEABM)
The mode of interview shall be online/offline. The time slot and interview Id will be provided to the eligible candidates on the schedule date and time. The candidates applying through online mode have to pay an online application fee of Rs. 300 drawn in favour of HoD, AEABM.

Eligible applicants for the post of Project Assistant can appear for a walk-in-interview on 30.06.2020 at Directorate of Research, SKUAST-Jammu, Main campus, Chatha from 11.00 AM onwards.
Eligible applicants for the post of Field cum Lab Attendant can appear for a walk-ininterview on 02-07.2020 at the Division of LPM, FVSc and AH, SKUAST-J, R.S Pura, from 11.00 AM onwards.
SKUAST Jammu Terms and conditions:
1. Appointment is purely temporary and will terminate automatically without any notice or compensation at the termination of the research project.
2. The appointed person will have no claim of appointment / absorption in Funding Agency or in SKUAST-Jammu.
3. Appointment of the applicant will be governed by the terms and conditions of the funding agency particularly applicable to this project
4. The prescribed educational qualifications are the bare minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview. The Screening Committee may restrict the number of candidates to be called for the interview after taking into consideration the qualifications and experience as per the advertisement.
5. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview.
6. Selected candidates will have to join duty within a period of one week after the receipt of the offer.
