SKUAST Jammu Jobs: Sher – e – Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Jammu Division of Soil Science & Ag-Chemistry, FoA, Chatha Jammu invites applications on plain paper are invited from candidates for the temporary position under DST funded project entitled “North Indian Centre for Water Technology Research in Agriculture” as detailed below.

Position Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Emoluments

• Rs. 31,000/-p. m. plus 8% HRA

Essential Qualification

1. M.Sc. Agriculture/Allied subjects/ Life Sciences/ M.Tecb (Soil and water conservation)
2. NET/ GATE/Equivalent

Desirable Qualification/Experience

1. Experience in soil and plant laboratory analysis, laying field trials, water productivity in agriculture, soil erosion, Soil and water conservation /Rainwater management/managing field crop

TERMS AND CONDITIONS;

• The position is purely temporary, time bound and co-terminus with the project and will be initially filled up to March 2022.
• The University reserves the right to till or not to fill the positions, depending on the qualificationsfciedentlals of the candklates applied etc,
• The services of the incumbent shall stand terminated automatically on expiry of the period of the project with no claim of absorption against any temporary/regular post in the University.
• The appointee can be terminated at any time by University without assigning any reason thereof. In event of the relinquishing of the engagement by candidate, one month notice is essential.
