Applications on the prescribed format are Invited from the (Not in Service/Non-PSC) eligible candidates from the permanent Residents of J&K State for the following Faculty posts (Discipline specified against each) on Academic Arrangement basis under SRO. 384 of 2009 Dated. 14-12-2009, read with SRO. 409 of 2013 Dated.19-08-2013, for a period of one year, which shall be extendable up to maximum for a period of six years (one year at a time subject to better performance, conduct and prescribed age limit which shall not exceed more than (65) years) or till such time posts are filled up by the competent authority on the recommendation of Public Service Commission on regular basis In terms of existing J&K Medical Education (Gazetted) Recruitment Rules 1979, and SRO. 88 of 2016 Dated. 14.03.2016, whichever is earlier: –

Requirements/Experience in respect of both Medical &
1 Biochemistry Professor Non Medical persons; –

The applicants must be having (03) years teaching experience as Associate Professor In the Government Medical College, Srinagar/Jammu as the case may be with minimum of four (4) Research publications indexed in National Journals accepted/ published as first/second author, out of which minimum two research publications must have been published durinq the tenure of the Associate Professor.
Associate i. For Medical persons:-

PG degree In Biochemistry i.e. M.D, Ph.D., D.Sc II. For non-Medical persons:- Ph.D. In Bio-chemistry

Requirements/Experience in respect of both Medical &
Professor Non Medical persons: –

The applicants must be having (02) years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in the Government Medical College, Srinagar/Jammu as the case may be with minimum of two (2) Research publications indexed in National Journals accepted/ published as first/second author durinq the tenure of the Assistant Professor.
2 Chest Medicine (TB&CD) Professor M.D. In (Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases) or equivalent qualifications with (03) years teaching experience as Associate Professor in the Government Medical College, Srinagar/Jammu as the case may be with minimum of four (4) Research publications indexed in National Journals accepted/ published as first/second author, out of which minimum two research publications must have been published during the tenure of the Associate Professor.
Lecturer M.O. in (Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases) or equivalent qualifications with 2 years teaching experience as Registrar/Senior Registrar in the Specialty in any Medical Colleges/ Institutes recognized by the MCI.
3. a. Medical Oncology (Allied Specialty of Medicine) Professor DM (Medical Oncology)/DNB (Medical Oncology).

Or

MD (Medicine)or DNB (Medicine) or MD (Radio Therapy) or DNB (Radio Therapy) or MD (Pediatrics) or DNB (Pediatrics) with two years teaching experience in Medical Oncology with (03) years teaching experience as Associate Professor in the Government Medical College, Srinagar/Jammu as the case may be with minimum of four (4) Research publications indexed in National Journals accepted/ published as first/second author, out of which minimum two research publications must have been published during the tenure of the Associate Professor.

Lecturer DM (Medical Oncology)/DNB (Medical Oncology).

Or

MD (Medicine)or DNB (Medicine) or MD (Radio Therapy) or DNB (Radio Therapy) or MD (Pediatrics) or DNB (Pediatrics) with two years teaching experience in Medical Oncology as a Resident/Registrar/ Demonstrator/Tutor in a Medical College or teaching Medical Institute recognized by MCI.
b. Medical Geriatrics Allied Specialty of Medicine) Lecturer 1.              M.D. (Medicine)/DNB (Medicine) and Diploma/ Certificate Course in Geriatrics.

2.              Two years teaching experience in Medicine as Registrar/Demonstrator/ Tutor in Medical Colleqe or teachinq Medical Institute recoqnized by MCI.
4 Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (Allied Specialty of Orthopedics) Associate

Professor

 MD. (P.M.R.)ZM.D. (Medicine)ZDNB (Medicine) with Diploma in PMR/M.S. (General Surgery)/DNB (General 5urgery)/M.S. (Orthopedics)ZDNB (Orthopedics) and having (02) years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in the Government Medical College, Srinagar/Jammu as the case may be with minimum of four (4) Research publications indexed in National Journals accepted/ published as first/second author, out of which minimum two research publications must have been published during the tenure of the Assistant Professor.
Lecturer i. MD. (P.M.R.)/M.D. (Medicine)ZDNB (Medicine) with Diploma in PMR/M.S. (General Surgery)/DNB (General Surgery)/M.S.(Orthopedics)/DNB (Orthopedics) with two years special training in the specialty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (Rehabilitation Medicine) or two years of equivalent training approved in the subject in any approved Institution in India.

II. Two years teaching experience in Medicine/General Surgery/Orthopedics as a Registrar/Demonstrator/ Tutor In Medical College or teaching Medical Institute recoqnized by MCI.
5 Obsts. & Gynae. Assistant

Professor

 M.D. (Obst. & Gynae) M.S. (Obst & Gynae), M.07M.R.C.O., M.D/M.S. (Midwifery and Gynae) Specialty Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (USA) with (02) years teaching experience as Lecturer in the Government Medical College, Srinagar/Jammu as the case may be with minimum of one (1) Research publication indexed In National Journals accepted/ published as first/second author durinq the tenure of the Lecturer.
Lecturer M.D. (Obst. & Gynae) M.S. (Obst & Gynae), M.O./M.R.C.O., M.D/M.S. (Midwifery and Gynae) Specialty Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (USA) with 2 years teaching experience as Registrar/Senior Resident in the Specialty in any Medical Colleges/ Institutes recoqnized by the MCI.

The applicants must be having (2) years teaching experience as Demonstrator in the Specialty in any Medical Colleqes/lnstitutes recoqnized by the MCI.
7 Radiotherapy Lecturer

Medical

Physicist

 9.              A post graduate degree in Physics from a recognized university;

10.             A post M.Sc. diploma in radiological/medical physics from a recognized university; and

11.             An internship of minimum 12 months in a recognized well equipped radiation Therapy department.

OR

(a)             A basic degree in science from a recognized university, with physics as one of the main subjects;’

(b)             A post graduate degree in radiological/medical physics from a recognized University;, and

ill) An internship of minimum 12 months in a recognized well-equipped radiation therapy Department.
8 Surgery Professor M.S. (General Surgery)/General Surgery), F.R.C.S., Specialty Board of Surgery (USA) or an equivalent qualification in the subject with (03) years teaching experience as Associate Professor In the Government Medical College, Srinagar/Jammu as the case may be with minimum of four (4) Research publications indexed in National Journals accepted/ published as first/second author, out of which minimum two research publications must have been published durinq the tenure of the Associate Professor.
9 Paediatrics Lecturer M.D. in (Paediatrics), Specialty Board of Paediatrics (USA) with 2 years teaching experience as Registrar/Senior Resident in the Specialty in any Medical Colleges/ Institutes recoqnized by the MCI.
