WALK IN INTERVIEW

Eligible candidates are invited for Walk-In-Interview for academic arrangement as Assistant Professor (contractual) in the following disciplines for the Academic session 2016-17.

Positions

01 Chemistry

Eligibility

i)  Masters Degree in concerned subject with 55% of marks or equivalent GPA.
ii) NET/SLET/SET, however, candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph. D . Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.

02 Civil Engineering

Eligibility

B.E/B.Tech and ME/M Tech in Civil Engineering with First Class or equivalent either in BE/B.Tech or ME/M Tech

03 Electrical Engineering

Eligibility

B.E/B.Tech and ME/M Tech in Electrical Engineering with First Class or equivalent either in BE/B.Tech or ME/M Tech

 

04 Computer Science & Engineering

Eligibility

B.E/B.Tech and ME/M Tech in Computer Science & Engineering with First Class or equivalent either in BE/B.Tech or ME/M Tech

 

05 English Language & Literature 
06 Mathematics
07 International Relations 
08 Physics 
09 Environmental Science 

Eligibility

i) Masters degree in the concerned subject with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent GPA.
ii) NET/SLET/SET, however, candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph. D . * Candidates having Specialization in Physical Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/lnorganic Chemistry will be given preference.

Salary:

– Candidates with Ph. D/NET/SLET : Rs. 25,000/-per month

– Candidates without Ph. D/NET/SLET : Rs. 20,000/-per month

Interview Time and Venue




• The candidates shall report for interview at 10:00 am on the scheduled date to the Office of the Registrar, Islamic University of Science & Technology, Awantipora, Pulwama, Kashmir.

Important instructions

• Candidates with Masters Degree in the concerned subject with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent GPA can also apply who shall be considered for engagement in case suitable candidates with NET/SLET/SET will not be available in non-engineering subjects.

• Candidates having First Class BE/B.Tech. degree in concerned Engineering branch can also apply who shall be considered for engagement in case suitable candidates with M.E/M.Tech degree will not be available.

General Terms & Conditions:-

• Candidates should bring one recent passport size photograph, all relevant documents in original supporting their candidature along with a Xerox set duly self attested.

• NoTA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
