Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the Ministry of Environment Forests and Climate Change (MOEF & CC) Government of India funded Project entitled “Long Term Conservation Plan for Hangul Part II: Hangul Movement Pattern Study Using GPS-Satellite Telemetry”. The position, is temporary and co-terminus with the project and the appointee shall, not have any claim for absorption in the University.

Essential Qualification Desirable Qualification Emoluments Age
01. First Class postgraduate (M.Sc/ MVSc.) in Wildlife Sciences OR

First Class post graduation in the Natural Science with one year work experience in the Wildlife field particularly on ungulate ecology.

NET Qualified candidates would be preferred. Rs. 25000 (Consolidated) for Non-NET qualified Rs. 16000 (Consolidated) for Non-NET candidates 18-37 years

The applicants along with the application shall report to the office of the Scientist In Charge Centre for Mountain Wildlife Sciences, SKUAST-Kashmir Shuhama by or before 21s* October 2015. The walk in interview of the eligible candidates shall be held in the office of the Directorate of Research, SKUAST-Kashmir, Shalimar, Srinagar on 23rd October 2015 at 03:00 pm.
