Total Number of Posts: 7
Pay Scale: 4440-7440+ Grade Pay 1400 (During the period of first five years the appointee shall be entitled to the minimum of scale of pay along with the grade pay applicable to the post in terms of SRO 202 dated: 30th June .2015)
Qualification:
Minimum -Matric. Maximum = 10+2
Age:-
Minimum 18 years, Maximum 40 as on 01 -01 -2017 in respect of open category.
Maximum Age relaxable as per Govt orders in respect of other categories.

- Date of Birth Certificate issued by the Board of School Education.
- Permanent residence Certificate.

Rearing of Sheep, Cleaning of Sheep Sheds, Lifting of Sheep Manure, working in Farms located at far flung areas Migration & camping at High Land Pastures along with Live Stock.

Criteria for selection of the candidates:
The criteria for Short listing as well as selection of the suitable/ eligible candidates for the post of ASM, shall now be as under:-

| ii | Weight age of points for Basic Qualification (10th pass) | 60 points pro-rata basis |
| iii | Points for higher qualification (up to 10+2 onlv) | 10 points |
| iv | Weight-age points for Gujar Bakerwal/ Chopans/ Changpas /Gaddies community who have not abandoned the profession in rearing Sheep & Goat to be certified by the concerned Tehsildar dulv countersianed bv the District Sheep Husbandry Officer. | 10 points |
