Applications are invited on the prescribed form from the permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir State for appointment to the post of Lecturers in the Pay Band of 9300-34800 + 5400 GP in following specialities with required qualifications and teaching experience as per recruitment criteria and category wise breakup tabulated below:-

Allowances: Dearness and other allowances as admissible to State Government employees from time to time.
Age
Age as on 01-01-2018 as per Govt. Order No. 586-GAD of 2014 dated 03-06-2014:
Minimum = 18
Maximum = 40
Upper age limit for candidates belonging to:
- Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/ Resident Backward Area/ Actual Line of Control = 43 years
- Physically Handicapped =42 Years
- J&K Medical (Gazetted) Services/ J&K Medical Education Department(Gazetted) Services^ 45 Years
- Ex-Serviceman =48 Years

How to apply
Application Forms can be had on any working day during office hours from the office of the Administrative Officer SKIMS Medical College, Bernina Srinagar against the Bank Draft of Rs. 3000 (rupees three Thousand) only payable at Srinagar favouring Chief Accounts Officer, SKIMS Medical College, Bernina, Srinagar.
Application Forms of all the candidates, complete in all respects, including the ones to be routed through proper channel by the in-service candidates should reach the office of Administrative Officer on or before 28-02-2018 up to 02.00 p.m.
Application Forms incomplete in any respect, whatsoever, shall not be entertained and are liable for rejection without any notice to the applicant.
The cut-off date for determining the eligibility like (qualification, experience & publication of scientific papers etc.) shall be the last date of receipt of Application Forms i.e. 28-02-2018.
In view of Govt. Order No. 1500-GAD of 2000 dated 21-12-2000, candidates who are exceptionally qualified whether he/she may be over age can also apply against any post for which he/she is otherwise eligible.
