The interested and eligible candidates are invited for walk-in-interview fo be held on 15 June 2022 (Wednesday) at 2:30 PM sharp in the office of the Director, Cente of Research for Development (CORD) for filling a single position of “Research Personnel’ available under the National Development Foundation (NDF/ Department of Wildlife Protection (DWP), JK sponsored research project entitled “Preparation of PRI based geo-referenced biodiversity assessment, documentation and conservation plan of wild flora and fauna of Kishtwar High Altitude National Park (KHANP).

Salary:

The position with a monthly stipend of Rs. 30,000 (consolidated) is purely on a temporary basis for a period of one year

Experience:

Experience in using GIS-based software and DNA extraction from the non-invasive samples would be desirable.

Qualification:

The candidate should be ain Indian citizen with Masters’s Degree in Ecology/Wildlife Science/ Environmental Science with at least 55%. marks.

Age limit:

Only those candidates with an age less than 35 years on the interview date are eligible for this position.

Note:

The candidate must be a dedicated field worker, ready to trek, camp, and stay in the remote and rugged high-altitude terrain of Kishtwar NP and other PAs of J&K.
The candidate should have prior experience working in such difficult terrains with & a multi-disciplinary careerprofile ranging from field ecology, molecular biology, and GIS to community based conservation
No TA/DA shall be paid for appearing in the interview.
