Adil Rashid Chopan killed by security forces in Tral’s Gulshanpora

Today Adil Rashid Chopan killed in a brief shootout at Gulshanpora Gujjarbasti area of Tral town in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.

The slain militant had managed to escape from encounter site in May this year when top militant commander Sabzar Ahmed Bhat and his close aide Faizan Ahmed were killed at Saimoh village of the town.

Adil Rashid, a resident of Larow village of Tral town of Puwama in South Kashmir was a teenager who had suffered injuries in Saimoh encounter but had managed to flee from the encounter spot after people rushed to help him escape.
