All 75,000 first-year college students in J&K will be given tablets Subhas Sarkar.

According to Union Minister of State for Education Subhas Sarkar, about 75,000 first-year students in different undergraduate programmes in Jammu and Kashmir, as well as 2,000 students from various scheduled tribal communities, would be given tablets. On the final day of his five-day tour to Kashmir, the Union Minister made this announcement.

He was on a public engagement tour in the valley as part of the Union government’s public outreach programme.
