TRAFFIC PLAN & ADVISORY

Traffic movement on 16.07.2019  Jammu-Srinagar NHW-44  Subject to fair weather and clearance of road

CUT OFF TIMING:
SANJY Yatra Convoy from Nashree towards Qazigund and vice versa 1000 hours  RFID fitted Yatri Vehicles/Non local tourist  vehicles ( who is not part of Yatra convoy )  from Nashree towards Qazigund and vice versa 1100 hours
Time slot allotted to travel in Nashree – Qazigund 1000 hrs to 1400 hrs and 1100 hrs to 1500 hrs respectively.
No Yatri vehicle/non local tourists vehicle shall be allowed after cut off timings from Nashree and Qazigund
No movement of any type of Vehicle shall be allowed between Nashree and Qazigund stretch during restricted hours ( viz 1000  hrs 1500 hrs)

Security Forces Convoy shall be allowed from Jammu towards Srinagar (Up Convoy)

LMVs (Private/Commercial) from Jammu  towards Srinagar and vice versa from
Nagrota (Jammu ) 1400 hrs to 1700 hrs  and from Udhampur 1530 hrs to 1900 hrs From Pantha Chowk Srinagar from 1330 hrs  to 1630 hrs and from Qazigund 1530 hrs to 1900 hrs

HMVs ( Load Carriers)
From Srinagar towards Jammu
From Zig (Qazigund) 1700 hrs to 2200 hrs
No vehicle shall be allowed after cut off timings

MUGHAL ROAD
Subject to fair weather and clearance of road LMVs shall be allowed both ways from Srinagar towards Jammu and vice versa viaShopian- Mughal Road- Rajouri (144-A) .
These vehicles shall be allowed from 0500 hrs to 1200 hrs from Behramgalla and Hirpora However, HMVs shall be allowed one way only from 1200 hrs. to 1800 hrs from Srinagar towards Jammu from Hirpora
No vehicle shall be allowed after cut of timings

Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari Road
Vehicular movement shall be allowed both  ways from Kargil towards Srinagar and  vice versa.
LMVs from 0500 hrs. to 0900 hrs. & HMVs  from 0900 hrs. 1300 hrs . shall be allowed from Minimarg towards Srinagar and LMVs  from 1300 hrs. to 1500 hrs. & HMVs from 1500 hrs. to 1800 hrs. shall be allowed from  Sonamarg towards Kargil

ADVISORY
These are the locations where RFID is fitted without cost; 1. Lakhanpur in Kathua, 2. Airport,  3. Railway Station, 4. Bus stand Jammu, 5. Yatri Niwas Bhagwati Nagar, 6. Ban Toll Plaza in Jammu, 7. Chaneni – Nashri Tunnel in Udhampur.
No movement of any type of HMV shall be allowed from opposite direction.  People are advised to undertake journey on NHW/ Mughal Road/SSG Road only after  confirming status of the road from below mentioned phone Nos.
