Tomorrow Jammu Srinagar NHW Traffic update 2nd Jan 2020.

Jammu Srinagar Today, Tomorrow, Daily National Highway Traffic update, Advisory for 02-01-2020 NHW-44.

Subject to fair weather and better road condition, Light Motor Vehicles (passenger) shall be allowed from Srinagar towards Jammu on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. However, TCU Srinagar shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing the traffic.

CUTOFF TIMING:

LMVs from Zig (Qazigund) 0800 hrs to 1300 hrs No Vehicle shall be allowed before and after cut off timing.

HMVs/Load Carriers

HMVs shall be allowed from Zig (Qazigund) towards Jammu. However fresh perishable carriers/oil tankers shall be allowed in the opposite direction subject to traffic situation on NHW.

SFs Convoy Movement

Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/traffic plan in view of traffic congestion on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. They may ply from Srinagar towards Jammu.

NOTE:- On 08-01-2021 Friday, there shall be no traffic movement on Jammu-Srinagar NHW from either side in view of maintenance/ repairing of the NHW.

MUGHAL ROAD

Mughal road is blocked due to snow accumulation.

SSG ROAD

SSG road is closed by the J&K Govt, vide DIVCOM Kashmir’s order No. 400/2020 dated 30-12-2020 till further orders.

People are advised to undertake journey on NHW-44 only after confirming status of the road from Traffic control units as under:-
