KB Group of institution honoured the living legend Captain BANA SINGH

Mr. RANJEET SINGH BEDI ,Director KB Group of institution ,brand in commerce honoured the living legend Captain BANA SINGH , a retired Indian soldier and a recipient of the nation’s highest Military Award, The PARAM VIR CHAKRA.

As we sit here at our regular coffee shops, sitting in our cozy rooms, looking out the window at a spectacle of traditional winter wonderland and contemplate our final festival gift purchases, it occurred to us how fortunate we are. Our blessings are countless. However, among our greatest blessings is our freedom. This is a blessing to which we owe a great debt of gratitude to our heroes – The men of our Armed Forces who are scanning the horizon for terrorist, improvised explosive devices and other threats.
The KB GROUP OF INSTITUTION just took a moment to say thanks to one of the real hero – The living legend Captain BANA SINGH. It’s really a very emotional and honorable moment for us to meet and get blessings from a person who have fought in very adverse conditions to save us, to save our country’s honour.
Mr. RANJEET SINGH BEDI ,Director of KB GROUP , an institution of commerce got a golden opportunity to honour Subedar Major and Honorary Captain BANA SINGH , a retired Indian soldier and a recipient of the nation’s highest Military Award, The PARAM VIR CHAKRA. Mr. Bedi is not only an educanist but also a social activist who always encourage his students to do their moral duties, to respect their social values and time to time, Mr. Bedi along with his staff and students organise such programme.In this series of such programmes, The KB Group hounoured the living legend Captain Bana Singh.
Subedar Major and Honorary Captain  Bana Singh, PVC (6 January 1949) is a retired Indian soldier and a recipient of the nation’s highest military award, the Param Vir Chakra.He has held the ranks Naib Subedar, Subedar major  and Honorary Captain  in the Indian Army. As a Naib Subedar, he led the team which conquered the highest peak in the  Siachen Glacier area at an attitude of 21,000 feet. The post was virtually an impregenable glacier fortress with ice walls, 1500 feet high on both sides.The peak was named as “Bana post”in his honour and it is said that during kargil war, he was the only Param Vir Chakra Awarded who was still serving the Country. Salute to Captain Bana Singh for showing such exemplary coverage at the icy heights and making J&K proud. We owe a lot to these Brave Soldiers of our Country.
