NGO under scanner for advertising 1500 jobs Thousands have applied, paying ` 200 as fees SYED RIZWAN GEELANI Srinagar, Sep 15: An NGO which goes under the title of Regional Social Welfare and Rural Development, has come under the scanner of government for luring gullible youth with a promise of providing them jobs on various posts.

The organisation has advertised 1500 posts that include Senior Assistant, Junior Assistant and other posts as well. According to the government officials thousands of unemployed youth have applied for the posts advertised by the NGO. “ People are linking this NGO with government given the resemblance of its name with Rural Development department but government is not aware about the functioning of this organization who are luring people for Jobs,” the officials said. The candidates have to pay an amount of Rs 200 to apply for these posts. “ This is another trick to mint money under the garb of jobs. Thousands of candidates have applied for these posts and the amount tunes up to lakhs,” the official said.

Meanwhile Director School Education Kashmir ( DSEK) Dr. Shah Faesal told  that he had already referred the matter to JK Police.
