Official Mourning as a mark of respect to Mr. Shinzo Abe former Prime Minister of Japan-GAD

As a mark of respect to Mr.Shinzo Abe, former Prime Minister of Japan who passed away on 8th July 2022, the Government of India has decided that there shall be one day of State Mourning on 09.07.2022 throughout the country. It has been decided that

• The National Flag shall fly at half-mast during the Mourning on all buildings and places where it is flown regularly; and
• There shall be no official entertainment during the Mourning.

Note: These decisions are brought to the notice of all the concerned for information and necessary action.
