Power crisis in J&K is likely to be eased out soon.

Officials stated on Wednesday that the severe power crisis in Jammu and Kashmir is likely to be eased now that the Indian government has granted 207MW of additional power to the state.

The decision issued by the Union Ministry of Power, according to Principal Secretary to Lieutenant Governor Nitishwar Kumar, will “significantly” boost the availability of power in J&K.

“Power shortages in J&K: The Government of India has given 207MW of additional power to the UT of J&K.
Nitishwar Kumar, Principal Secretary to HLG & PDD, claimed in a tweet that “the directive issued by the Union Ministry of Power will greatly increase the availability of power in J&K.”
