Ravinder Raina: Next J&K CM will be from BJP.

Ravinder Raina, the president of the BJP in J&K, declared on Wednesday that his party is ready for the upcoming general elections and that it will provide the next chief minister of J&K.

“We are fully prepared for elections in Jammu & Kashmir, and we want Election Commission to announce elections in J&K,” Raina told media persons in south Kashmir’s Anantnag, as reported by a local news agency.

According to him, the BJP has received a lot of love and devotion from the people of J&K, and the party is hoping that J&K will support them totally in the yet-to-be-held assembly elections.

He claimed that because to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s true and pro-people politics, which saw progress brought to every village in J&K, the people of Jammu and Kashmir have grown loyal to the BJP. “We have complete faith in the people of J&K, and we are hopeful that the BJP will be the next chief minister of J&K UT,” added Raina.

Pertinently, the former chief minister of J&K Omar Abdullah Tuesday criticized BJP for “delaying” assembly elections in J&K. “BJP has no guts to face the verdict of people of Jammu and Kashmir and it is why they are not holding democratic exercise in J&K,” Omar had said.
