Srinagar School Timing Changed.

In response to a communiqué sent by the Traffic Police City to the School Education Department on Friday, the government modified Srinagar School Timing Changed from 8.30 a.m. to 2 p.m. with effect from May 1.

The administration has expressed clearance for modification of school timings from 8.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. from May-01- 2022 and staggered timings for different classes in Srinagar city, according to an official communiqué from the School Education Department.

The letter reads, “This office has got a message from Traffic Police Headquarter JK, Jammu regarding the change in School timing in Srinagar City.”

The communiqué discloses that during the afternoon peak hours, school schedules in Srinagar city coincide with office schedules, causing traffic congestion on important roads.
