A fresh Western Disturbance is affecting J&K and adjoining area and likely to affect the state from 18th A/N to 20th A/N.

Under the influence of this system, moderate to heavy rain/snow is expected at widespread places of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh region between 18 Evening and 20 A/N.
There will be significant improvement in weather from 21st.

1. Higher reaches of Kashmir & Jammu including Kargil district of Ladakh most likely to receive Heavy snow fall /Rainfall and plains area of Kashmir & Jammu most likely to receive moderate rain/snow.

2. This may lead to closure of National Highway Sc disruption of surface and air transportation during 19th & 20th.
