Candidates protested the delay in release of the Teacher selection list

The candidates who had applied for various posts in the education department through Jammu and Kashmir services selection board (SSB) staged a protest here on Saturday demanding the release of the selection list. Candidates who had applied for the post of teachers in the education department last year, assembled at the Press Colony here this morning and staged a demonstration. The protesters said that last year SSB issued a notification for filling up 2100 posts of teachers in the education department on the fast track basis.

The protesters said that the district wise examinations for the posts were held in the months of April and May and the provisional list of candidates was released in June 2017. “One year has passed but the selection list has not been issued till now.
