The weather office has predicted light rain and snow in the next 24 hours and further drop in temperature in coming days.

“The temperatures dropped due to the clear night sky. During the next 24 hours, isolated places in Kashmir are likely to receive light snow/rain as a western disturbance is expected to become active during this period,” a MeT department official said.
