J&K Police is considering 800 sub-inspectors for recruitment.

The Police Headquarters (PHQ) wrote to the Jammu and Kashmir Home Department to recruit eight hundred sub-inspectors in order to cope with the scarcity of manpower in an elite police force.

“The Jammu and Kashmir police have faced a shortage of manpower and the J&K Home Department has taken on the same issue,” a report published in the English daily reveals.

We wrote to the home department of J&K and the process will start at the earliest. These Sub Inspectors are to be appointed in JKP’s Armed and Executive wings.”an official said.
