JKEDI SEED CAPITAL FUND SCHEME SCFS 

A component of Sher-e-Kashmir Employment and Welfare Programme for Youth (SKEWPY). Under this scheme government provides seed money to start-up entrepreneurs coupled with bank finance at concessional rates to enable their successful enterprise creation. The scheme is being implemented by JKEDI in collaboration with J&K Bank.

PROVIDED BY JKEDI AS NON-REFUNDALE SEED CAPITAL BANK FINANCE 65%

PROVIDED BY J&K BANK AT CONCESSIONAL INTEREST RATES

ELIGIBILITY

Education | Minimum 10+2
Age | 18-40 years
(The age limit shall be 18-42 years for the differently/specially abled persons)
First Generation entrepreneur
Unemployed youth registered with District Employment and Counselling Centres

Moratorium | Upto 2 years depending upon the nature of the enterprise

FUNDING PATTERN 35% SEED CAPITAL COMPONENT UPTO A MAXIMUM OF

Rs. 4 lakh for 10+2/undergraduates
Rs. 5 lakh for graduates
Rs. 6.50 lakh for postgraduates
Rs. 10 lakh for professional & technical graduates
