JKSSB Press Release 186th Board Meeting.

The 186th Board Meeting of the J&K Services Selection Board was convened under the Chairmanship of Mr. Khalid Jahangir, KAS, Chairman, J&K Services Selection Board in his office Chamber on 26th and 27th of August, 2021.
The Meeting was attended by Mr. Mohammad Shafiq Chak, KAS, Mr. Nazir Ahmad Khwaja, KAS, Mr. Pritam Lal Atri, KAS, Ms. Harvinder Kour, KAS, Mr. Ashiq Hussain Lily, KAS, Ms. Neelam Khajuria, KAS, Mr. Narayan Dutt, KAS, and Prof. Tasleema Peer, Members of the J&K Services Selection Board; Mr. Ashok Kumar, KAS, Controller of Examination, Mr, Jang Bahadur, Special Secretary, Law, Mr. Sachin Jamwal, KAS, Secretary, J&K Services Selection Board, Mr. Vinay Khosla, KAS. Deputy Secretary, Ms. Mamta Rajput, KAS, Administrative officer, Divisional Officer, J&K Services Selection Board and other officers of J&K Services Selection Board also participated in the said meeting.

Initiating the meeting, the Chairman informed the Board that the Computer Based Test Examination (CBT) for more than 1200 posts of different categories in Health and Medical Education Department has been successfully conducted by the Board and congratulated the Members/Controller of Examination/Officers of J&K Services Selection Board for the same.

Thereafter, various agenda items which included release of withheld recommendations of District Cadre, Divisional Cadre Jammu, Divisional Cadre, Kashmir, UT Cadre and for which deficiencies/shortcoming were completed by
the candidates were taken up for consideration. In addition, the meeting also deliberated upon the cases of  overlapping or dual degrees. After threadbare deliberations and discussion, the Board decided to release recommendations in favour of 29 candidates in various disciplines and 04 candidates were declared as Not Eligible and 01 selection has been cancelled after extensive discussion.

The Board also approved Selection Lists of 02 candidates and 27 posts of different categories pertaining to various Departments have been returned back to the concerned Indenting Department due to various deficiencies / nonavailability of eligible candidates. Further,14 court cases were also discussed in the meeting in which appropriate decisions were taken for their proper disposal.
