Training Program Notice IICT Srinagar.

Applications on plain paper are invited from eligible persons for undergoing Skill Up-gradation & Capacity Building Training Program on Silk Carpet weaving at this Institute. The Training programme has been sponsored by the Handicrafts and Handloom Department (Kashmir).

The eligibility criteria and other details of the course are mentioned here:

Name	Skill Up-gradation & Capacity Building Training Program
Minimum Age	25 Years
Duration	06 months
Stipend	Rs. 1500/ Month (to be paid through DBT mode)
Qualification	No qualification is required. However, the candidate must possess basic skill of carpet weaving.
Intake Capacity	Twenty (20)/ Batch
Selection Process	The selection of eligible candidates shall be made on the basis of his/her performance in the Trade Test to be followed by interview by the Designated Committee. However, the preference shall be given to pass-out trainees of Advanced Carpet Training Centers of Handicrafts & Handloom Department (Kashmir)/ Office of Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India.

How to apply: Applications along with 02 latest colored passport size photographs, copy of Aadhar Card, and Bank Passbook must reach the Indian Institute of Carpet Technology (IICT), Srinagar at Baghi-Ali-Mardan-Khan, Nowshera, Srinagar by or before 10-03-2023.
