Interview Schedule For the post of Professor Associate, Professor Assistant, Professor Lecturer GMC Jammu

Application on the Plain Paper are  invited from the candidates /doctors(Non PSC) /Retired) permanent residents of the J&K State for engagement on “Academic Arrangement basis” in terms of SRO-384 dated 14-12-2009 , read with SRO 409 dated 19-09-2013 initially for a period of one year extendable up-to maximum of six years (One year at a time and subject to good performance and conduct) or till the selection /promotion is made on regular basis in accordance with rules of Recruitment Governing the respective posts, by the PSC/DPC whichever is earlier, in the below mentioned disciplines of Govt. Medical College Jammu . This is without any prejudice to any writ petition lying pending before any Hon’ble Court of law:~

CONDITIONS & ELIGIBILITY ARE AS UNPER:-

A) For Professor:-

The applicant should be DM/DNB(Medical Oncology) /M.D. (Medicine) or DNB(Medicine)or M.D. (Radio Therapy) or DNB(Radio Therapy) or M.D(Paediatrics) or, DNB(Paediatrics in the concerned subject and should have total teaching experience of seven years as faculty with mandatory experience of Associate Professor for three years in the concerned discipline from the MCI recognized Institute along with four research publication indexed in National Journals accepted /published as First /Second author, out of which minimum two research publications should have been published during the tenure of the Associate Professor.

B) For Associate Professor:

The applicant should be DM/DNB(Medical Oncology) /M.D. (Medicine) or DNB(Medicine)or M.D. (Radio Therapy) or DNB(Radio Therapy) or M.D(Paediatrics) or DNB(Paediatrics in the concerned subject and should have total teaching experience of four years as faculty with mandatory experience of Assistant Professor for two years in the concerned discipline from the MCI recognized Institute along with two research publications indexed in National Journals accepted/Published as first /second author during the tenure of Assistant Professor.

C) For Assistant Professor

The applicant should be DM/DNB(Medical Oncology) /M.D. (Medicine) or DNB(Medicine)or M.D. (Radio Therapy) or DNB(Radio Therapy) or M.D(Paediatrics) or DNB(Paediatrics in the concerned subject and should have total teaching experience of two years as Lecturer in the concerned discipline from the MCI recognized Institute along with one research publications indexed in National Journals accepted/Published as first /second author during the tenure of Lecturer.

D) FOR LECTURER

The applicant should be DM (Medical oncology) /DNB(Medical oncology)/M.D (Medicine ) or DNB (Medicine) or M.D (Radiotherapy) or M.D. (Paediatrics) or DNB (Paediatrics) in the concerned subject with 2 years special training in Medical oncology and should have two years teaching experience in Medical Oncology as a Resident /Registrar/Demonstrator /Tutor in Medical College or teaching Medical Institute recognized by MCI .

The candidates are advised to enclose the attested true copies of the following documents with their application forms which should reach in the office of the undersigned by or before 28-04-2017.

1. Attempt Certificate of all examinations of DM/DNB of any other qualification issued by the University.

2. Distinction /Honour /Medal/Academic Merit Certificate , if any,

3. Post -Graduate Degree/Diploma Certificate DM/DNB.

4. Professional Publications in a indexed National as per MCI standard Medical Journals.

5. Experience Certificate wherever required.

6. Date of Birth Certificate /permanent Resident Certificate , and

7. Any other certificate pertaining to the Speciality.

The eligible candidates shall have to appear before the selection Committee constituted by the

Government under the Chairmanship of Commissioner/Secretary to Govt., Health & Medical Education Department, at Government Medical College, Jammu along-with all original testimonials and other related docutments at the time of Interview.

The interview will be conducted on 12-06-2017  in the office chamber of the undersigned .

Note:-
3. Candidates for the posts of Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor /Lecturer retired Faculty members of Govt. Recognized Institutes /Hospitals should not be of more than (63) years of age as on the date of issuance of notice should apply.

4. The selected candidates shall have to enter into an agreement that they will not leave the department before the completion of one year’s contract. Abandoning /terminating of the arrangement as case may be will require one month’s prior notice on either side failing which the salary shall not be paid for one month’s ‘ to the incumbent who shall always remain in deposit with the Department and the same shall be released on completion of sanctioned term.
