Applications on plain paper are invited for the position of one number of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in DBT funded Research Project entitled “Identification of Unique and novel alleles of thermo stable and cold active lipases and cellulases from microflora of J&K State using metagenomic approach against J&K Special call” under the supervision of Prof.V.Venna, Principal Investigator and Dr. Shafaq Rasool, Co-PI at Department of Biotechnology, SMVDU Katra, for a period of 01 year. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the duration of the project.

Essential qualification: The candidate must have M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biological Sciences with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.

Last date  4^th March, 2017

Remuneration:           

NET/MET/GATE/DBT-DBT qualified candidates: Rs. 25000/- per month +20% HRA. However Non- NET/GATE candidates can also apply who will be paid as per DBT, GOI rules.
