JK Police Constable Application form Edit Option Available.

The JK Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has advertised posts for Constables in the Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) Police, Home Department, under Notification No. 01 of 2024 dated 16.07.2024, covering Item Nos. 01 to 06. The application process for these posts was open from 08.08.2024 to 07.09.2024. Following the application period, the JKSSB received numerous requests from applicants asking for the option to modify certain details in their submitted application forms.

In response to these requests, the JKSSB has announced an “Edit Option” for candidates to modify permissible fields in their applications. This edit window will be open from 27.09.2024 (10:00 AM) to 03.10.2024 (10:00 PM). However, some fields—such as the Name of the Candidate, Date of Birth, Vertical Category, Items Applied, Phone Number, and Email ID—will remain non-editable. Only other allowed fields can be modified during this time frame.

The JK Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has advertised the posts of Constables in 3&K Police, Home Department, issued vide Notification No: 01 of 2024 dated 16.07.2024 under Item No. 01 to 06, with the date for submission of online application forms w.e.f 08.08.2024 to 07.09.2024.

The JKSSB has received various requests from the applicants for providing edit option for modifying permissible fields submitted by them in online application forms far the aforementioned posts.

In view of the above, it is hereby notified for information of all such candidates who have applied for the posts of Constables, JK Police (Home Department), advertised vide Advertisement Notification No.01 of 2024 dated 16.07.2024, under Item Nos. 01 to 06, that the “EDIT OPTION” for modifying the permitted fields/particulars, shall remain operational for seven days w.e.f 27.09.2024 (10:00 AM) to 03.10.2024 (10.00 PM). However, the particulars/fields w.r.t Name of the candidate, Date of Birth, Vertical Category, Items Applied, Phone number and Email ID shall remain Non-Editable
