GMC Udhampur Advertisement for engagement of faculty members on academic arrangement basis under S.O 364 of 2020 dated 27-11-2020 in Govt. Medical College, Udhampur.

ADVERTISEMENT No. 20 of 2023 Dated 04-12-2023

Applications on plain paper (Typed) are invited from eligible candidates (Domicile of JK UT) (Non PSC/Retired) for engagement on “Academic Arrangement basis” in terms of SO-364 dated 27-11-2020, initially for a period of three years extendable up to maximum of six years (one year at a time and subject to good performance and conduct) or till the selection/ promotion is made on regular basis in accordance with rules of recruitment governing the respective posts, by the PSC/ DPC whichever is earlier, in the below mentioned disciplines in Govt. Medical College, Udhampur. This is without any prejudice to any writ peti­tion lying pending before any Hon’ble Court of law: –

The selection of the candidates for the advertised post shall be made by the committee as per Govt, order No. 282- JK (HME) of 2023 Dated: 04-04-2023 and Corrigendum Dated: 06-04-2023.

The candidates are advised to enclose the attested true copies of the following documents with their application forms which should reach in the office of the Principal Govt. Medical College Udhampur on or before: (18-12-2023)

  1. MBBS Degree and MCl/NMC/State Medical Council Registration Certificate (in case of medical candidates) / Post Graduation Degree in the concerned discipline from a university duly recognized by University Grant Commission in case of non-medical candidate
  2. MBBS marks sheets of all professional examinations (1st, 2nd, Pre Final, Final)
  3. Higher Qualification Certificate (DM/MCFI/DNB/ Super Specialty).
  4. Experience Certificate issued by the competent Authority /Flead of the Institution.
  5. Professional Publication, Published in Indexed/ National Journals as Prescribed, oral presentation, poster pres­entation/ chapter in book.
  6. Gold Medal for overall first position in MBBS.
  7. Date of Birth Certificate
  8. Domicile Certificate
  9. Category Certificate, if any
  10. Affidavit duly attested from 1st Class Magistrate Stating the doctor is not in active in Govt. Service.
  11. Attempt Certificate of all examinations of MBBS/MD/DNB/Ph D or any other qualification issued by the University.
  12. Any other document if required by the selection commit­tee during the process of recruitment. (All documents should be self-attested).

Note: –

  1. The Appointments on Academic arrangements basis shall be paid monthly consolidated salary as per the scales defined in the 5.0 364 of 2020 dated 27-11-2020 at par with Government Medical College Udhampur.
  2. The appointments on academic arrangements basis shall by itself stand terminated on attainment of 70 Yrs of age by the appointee. The services of an appointee under these rules shall be terminable before expiry of the tenure of appointments with one month’s notice from either side or on payment of one month’s salary in lieu of notice by the appointing authority in case of any dispute, the decision of the chairperson of the selection commit­tee shall be final.
  3. The engagement of the appointee shall be terminated without any notice in case of indiscipline, unsatisfactory performance etc.
  4. The application of faculty members already working in Medical colleges of UT shall be considered only after production of NOC from the respective Heads of the Institutions.
  5. In case of any dispute the decision of chairperson of the selection committee shall be final.
  6. The application must be accompanied with a bank draft of Rs. 1000/- (One Thousand Rupees only) in favour of Chief Accounts officer Govt Medical College Udhampur payable at Udhampur.

The final selection of Candidate is subject to availability of vacancies at the time of Interview.

Note:-

Those candidates who have applied in response to previous Adv Notice No 10 of 2023 dated 12-08-2023 need not submit fresh application. However those who have acquired any additional qualification or experiences, since the earlier publication of the above mentioned advertisement can submit the relevant proof via email at [email protected] or personally in the office of Principal Govt Medical College Udhampur.
