Govt. Degree Colleges Jammu Jobs recruitment 2023 Advertisement Notice for Academic Arrangement 2023-23 for Jammu Division Colleges.

Govt. Degree Colleges Jammu Jobs Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for engagement as Lecturers / Librarians / PTIs and Teaching Assistants on Academic Arrangement in Govt. Degree Colleges of Jammu division for the Academic Session 2023-24. The application processing fee is Rs I00/-. Engagement of the Lecturers and Teaching Assistants on Academic Arrangement shall be made in the following subjects:

Note:- Candidates engaged for the Value Added Courses (VAC) shall be engaged as Guest Faculty.

Essential qualification for engagement of Guest Faculty under Value Added Course (VAC) shall be given below:-

  • Digital Technology:- B.E/ B.Tech. /M.Tech. / Master in Electronics or Computer or IT
  • Health and Wellness:- Master in Physical Education or Home Science/ MBBS/ BAMS/MD.

Lecturer/Librarians/PTI

Essential Qualification: Master Degree in relevant subject with at least 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/Differently-abled) with NET/SET/SLET or PhD.

Teaching Assistant

Essential Qualification: Master Degree in relevant subject with at least 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ differently-abled candidates). Note: In case, relevant qualifications Ph.D./M.Phil./ NET/SET/ SLET candidates are not available, only then teaching assistants (Position 2) will be engaged.

Other terms and conditions.

1. The criteria for preparing the subjects wise merit lists and the engagement of the candidates for the academic session 2023-24 shall be as per the guidelines notified vide Order No: 46-1K (HED) of 2022 Dated 28-02-2022 and the addendum No. HED-estb/12/2022-04, dated 10-02-2023.

2. Applicants should be domiciles of J&K UT.

3. Applicants can apply for the above positions through an online portal the link of which is available at the College Website (https://gcwparade.in) with effect from 07-07-2023 to 15-07-2023 (both days inclusive).

4. All the notifications regarding the process of engagements shall be available on the website. No individual communications with regard to the engagement process shall be sent.

5. In case two or more candidates of the same subject score same points, the candidate having higher marks percentage in PG shall be given the first preference and if the tie still persists, it shall be resolved on the basis of UG marks. In case tie persists at UG marks, age of the applicant shall be considered.(Preference shall be given to the older candidates)

6. All Academic Arrangements shall automatically terminate at the end of the academic session 2023-24. The engagement shall be for one academic session, excluding terminal holidays.

7. If a candidate gets disengaged due to appointment/posting of regular faculty (whether through transfer or fresh recruitment) or change in workload etc., he/she shall be adjusted against the requirement in any other college as and when available.

8. A candidate who has been selected in a particular institution/college under academic arrangement for a particular academic session shall not be permitted to join any other institution/college under the same scheme in the same academic session.

9. The candidates having been awarded grades in CGPA in any degree / examination for which credits are to be given for calculation of merit, shall enclose a conversion certificate (from CGPA to percentage) from the concerned University.

10. A Teaching Assistant shall be engaged only if no eligible/qualified candidate for Lecturer (Academic Arrangement) is available in the concerned subject.

11. The candidates will have to sign an agreement with the Principal of the college concerned, before joining, in the prescribed format, duly attested by 1st Class Judicial Magistrate.

12. The candidates shall have to provide their active email IDs and their working contact number/numbers that remain active all through the session so that they can be called/contacted whenever required. In case the contact/contacts provided are found nonfunctional, the next candidate shall be contacted.

13. In the event of any information given by candidate found false, incomplete, incorrect, forged or tampered, the candidature of the applicant will be cancelled without any notice thereof. Further, misleading information shall also warrant necessary legal action.

14. The college allotted/opted by the candidate shall not be changed. No shilling of candidates shall be done due to vacancies arising by non-joining or additional vacancies if any.

15. The teaching experience issued by the UGC approved Government Universities/Colleges of India shall only be accepted.

16. It is compulsory for the candidates to attend the counseling (in person/online) on the allotted dates, failure of which shall result in loss of candidature. It is necessary for a candidate to accept an available offer at the time of counseling; otherwise he/she shall lose any claim for further consideration.

17. The candidates shall strictly submit only three best and relevant publications (UGC recognized) with the application form. No additional publications shall be entertained tinder any circumstances. Change in any form of the publication shall not be accepted after the submission of the form. The candidates shall submit the proof of inclusion of the journal in UGC Care list (Screenshot highlighting the name of the journal).

18. The term awards mentioned shall be restricted to Central Government/State Government only. The societies registered with state government or central government shall not be treated as per the Government of State/Country. Awards from societies shall not be accepted.

19. All communication/ queries/grievances shall be taken up via above mentioned mail id. No phone calls shall be answered.
