Applications on prescribed form,  are invited from eligible candidates for appointment to the post of Registrar, Finance Officer, Controller of Examinations, Librarian, Deputy Librarian and Internal Audit Officer.

Applications on prescribed form are invited front eligible candidates for appointment to the following posts

  1. Registrar (Tenure Post: 5       years)
  2. Finance Officer (Tenure Post: 3 years)
  3. Controller of Examinations ( Tenure Post: 3 years)
  4. Librarian (Appointment is for term of 5 years or till attaining the age of 62. whichever is earlier (eligible for re appointment))
  5. Deputy Librarian
  6. Internal Audit Officer

DETAILS OE PAY, QUALIFICATIONS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  1. REGISTRAR (PB Rs. 37400-67000 •+ GP Rs. 10.000/-)

(Tenure Post: 5 years)

Age: Preferably below 57 Years

Essential Qualifications and / or experience:

  1. ) Master’s Degree with at least 33% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC

seven-point scale.

2.) At least 13 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 7000 – and above or

with at least 8 years of serv ice in the AGP of Rs. 8000/- and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration.

OR

Comparable experience in research establishment and /or other institutions of higher education.

OR

15 years of Administrative  experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar

  1. FINANCE OFFICER (PB Rs. 27400-67000 + GPRs. 10.000/-)

( Tenure Post: 3 years)

Age: Preferably below 57 Years

Essential Qualifications and / or experience:

  1. ) Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC

seven-point scale.

  1. ) At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 7000/- and above or

with at least 8 years (O’sen ice in the AGP of Rs. 8000/- and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration.

OR

Comparable experience in research establishment and / or other institutions of higher education,

OR

15 years of Administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.

Desirable: Persons possessing Master’s degree in Business Administration ( finance) /

Commerce or possessing ICWA qualification.                                                                          1

  1. CONTROLLER OF EXAMINATIONS (PB Rs. 37400-67000 + GP Rs. 10.000/-)

(Tenure Post: 5 years)

Age: Preferably below 57 Years

Essential Qualifications and/or experience:

  1. ) Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of TV in the UGC

seven-point scale.

  1. ) At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 7000/- and above or

with at least 8 years of serv ice in the AGP of Rs. 8000/- and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration.

OR

Comparable experience in research establishment and / or other institutions of higher education.                                                                                                                                                                   {

15 years of Administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.

Desirable: Relevant experience in conducting University / National level educational institutions examinations or other comparable examinations.

  1. LIBRARIAN (PB Rs.37400-67000+GP Rs. 10000)

Age: Preferably below 55 Years

Essential Qualifications and/or experience:

  1. Master’s Degree in Library Science Information Science/ Documentation with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and a consistently good academic record.
  2. At least thirteen years as Deputy Librarian in a University or eighteen years experience as a College Librarian.
  3. Lvidence of innovative library service and organization of published work.

Desirable:

  1. Phil./Ph.D. Degree in 1 .ibrary Science/ Information Science/ Documentation/ Archives and Manuscript-keeping.
  2. Deputy Librarian completing service of three years in the AGP of Rs. 0000 and otherwise eligible as per the APE scoring system and PH AS methodology developed in UGC Regulations. 2010 with a Ph.D. qualification.

Note: API score and other conditions as per UGC Regulations. 2010 as amended from time to time.

5. DEPUTY LIBRARIAN (PH Rs. 15600-39100 + AGP Rs.8000)

Age: Preferably below 45 Years Essential Qualifications and/or experience:

  1. Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of R in the UGC seven point scale and a consistently good academic record.
  2. hive years experience as an Assistant University Librarian/College Librarian.
  3. Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work and professional com m i t m e nt. computerization of library.

Desirable:

M.Phil./ Ph.D. Degree in Library Science/Information Science/ Documentation/ Archives and Manuscript-keeping/Computerization of Library.

6. INTERNAL AUDIT OKKICEJR (PH RS. 15600-39100+ GP RS.7600)

(Appointment shall be on deputation basis)

Age: Preferably below 45 Years

Essential Qualifications and/or experience:

Officers belonging to Audit and Accounts Services or other similar organized services in Central/Slate Govt., holding analogous posts on regular basis

OR

w ith three years regular service in PH-3 (Rs. 15600-39100) G.P. Rs. 6600 –

OR

with five years regular sen ice in PH-3 (Rs. 15600-39100)  G.P. Rs. 5400

Central University of Jammu, Rahya Suchani (Bagla). District Samba- 181 143. Jammu (J&K) along with a demand draft of Rs. 500/- (except in case Candidates belonging to SC S 1 Persons with Disability eategories) from any National/ Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of Finance Officer, Central University of Jammu, payable at Jammu, through Registered / Speed Post only, so as to reach on or before 27.09.2016.

The post applied for Advertisement number and Date’ shall be superscribed on the left top side of the cover. Applications received after the last date will be summarily rejected and no further correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.

NOTE: The candidates who have already applied against Employment Notification No. 15 dated 22.02.2016 for the post of Librarian, Deputy Librarian and Internal Audit Officer need to apply fresh. However, they need not pay fee provided they mention the details about fee already paid while applying for the posts under said Notification.
