Director Handicrafts Scholarship for Registered Artisans.

Director Handicrafts Scholarship Implementation of Education Scheme for grant of Scholarship to the Wards/Children of artisans for the year 2022-23 Office of Assistant Director Handicrafts Samba invited Applications on the prescribed form Children of Registered Artisans for grant of Scholarship, notified vide Govt. Order No 80- JK(IND) of 2022 dated 12.05.2022. The payment shall be made on DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) mode to the beneficiary after producing the valid fees receipt duly signed by the Head of School/Institute subject to the following conditions:-

Having Below Poverty Line (BPL), PHH, AAY Ration Card or
Having Economic Weaker Section ( EWS) certificate or
Having income less than Rs 90,000/- per annum, with income certificate issued by the Ist class, Magistrate/Tehsildar concerned. Besides, the applicant shall seek NOC from the concerned Zonal Education officer (ZEQ) and Tehsil Social Welfare officer(TSWO)}, that he/she has not availed any benefit the under the following Schemes being implemented by this department:-
Pre-Matric Scholarship.
Post-Matric Scholarship scheme.
Prime Minister’s Scholarship scheme.
Any other scheme.

Documents to be attached with the prescribed form

Domicile certificate
Marks sheet of the previous year
Aadhar Card
Bank Passbook
Category Certificate, if any.
Ration Card/EWS certificate / Income certticate.
NOC from the concerned Zonal Education Officer and Tehsil Social Welfare Officer.
Bonafide Certificate issued by the Head of the school/ institute.

How to apply:

Interested children of Artisans may submit their application form duly supported by the requisite formalities within one month in the office of the undersigned.
