J&K Scholarship 2026-27: Applications Invited for Pre & Post Matric SC Students

The Office of the District Social Welfare Officer, Jammu has invited online applications for Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarships for Scheduled Caste (SC) students through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) for the academic session 2026-27.

Scholarship Details

Scholarship Portal: www.scholarships.gov.in

Pre-Matric Scholarship: For SC students of Classes 9th & 10th

Post-Matric Scholarship: For SC students of Class 11th onwards

Important Dates

Portal Opens: 10 July 2026

Last Date to Apply: 31 August 2026

Last Date for INO Level Verification: 15 September 2026

Last Date for DNO Level Verification: 1 October 2026

How to Apply

Apply online through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

Students must first generate a One Time Registration (OTR).

Download the Face RD App and NSP OTR App from the Google Play Store.

Complete eKYC with Face Authentication.

Use the generated OTR and password to submit the scholarship application.

Aadhaar-linked Bank Account Details (First page of passbook)

Income Certificate issued by Tehsildar

Previous Class Marks Sheet

Original Fee Receipt of Current Class

Important Instructions

Students should complete OTR before applying.

Educational institutions must ensure their course details and KYC are updated on NSP.

Applications and verifications must be completed within the prescribed timeline.
